What went into creating Cashfree Payments’ design principles

Our UX and UI teams, led by Rony Philip, our Director of Design, followed a systematic approach to make the Cashfree Payments design principles holistic and easy to apply.

The process of formulating the principles led by Nishant Kaku, our Associate Director of Design, and Manas Manohar, our Senior Product Designer, began with extensive research followed by a design thinking workshop to define what this guiding framework will look like.

The workshop outcomes were then refined through cross-functional discussions to ensure the principles embody the essence of Cashfree Payments.

In the larger context, these principles streamline collaboration by aligning our design and product teams toward a common goal and a shared vision. They reinforce our commitment to understanding the user and prioritsing their needs. 

But the biggest impact yet from our principles is being able to achieve a superior user experience while keeping design aligned with our business vision and mission.
