This Third Party Validation (TPV) requirement helps ensure that the money used for an investment comes from the investor\u2019s verified bank account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But there\u2019s a problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Users_often_select_the_wrong_account\"><\/span><strong>Users often select the wrong account.&nbsp;<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most investors today have multiple bank accounts. During checkout, they can see all of these accounts and may inadvertently select one that isn\u2019t registered with the investment platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The payment journey then continues as usual. The customer enters their UPI PIN, only to discover that the payment has failed because the selected account isn\u2019t the registered one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wrong account selection accounts for 8% of total payment failures on TPV-enabled merchants.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s a failure that could have been prevented before the payment even started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Making_the_right_account_the_obvious_choice\"><\/span><strong>Making the right account the obvious choice<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At GFF 2026, Cashfree and Google Pay are introducing UPI <strong>Third Party Validation<\/strong> to solve exactly this problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now the customer\u2019s KYC-registered bank account is automatically surfaced at the top of the Google Pay payment screen and remains selectable.
