# Product Walkthrough

> Get a guided product walkthrough of Cashfree Payment Gateway features, including the new dashboard, hosted checkout, payment links, refunds, and reporting.

    Cashfree Payment Gateway helps businesses accept domestic and international payments, with a wide range of payment options. You can easily collect payments from your customers using our pre-built checkout integrations or customise the payment flow (Seamless Basic and Seamless Pro) for your customers in line with your business needs.

    **Accessing Your Cashfree Payment Gateway Dashboard**

    * **Log in** to your Cashfree account.
    * Navigate to **Payment Gateway** → Select **Access** to proceed.

    **Dashboard Overview**
    The **All-New Cashfree Payment Gateway Dashboard** is divided into the following parts:

    **Summary**
    The Summary section gives an overview of key metrics in the payment gateway dashboard, including daily and weekly transaction insights.
    Here, you can check the summary of:

    * **Recent Settlements**
    * **Disputed Transactions**
    * **Suspicious Transactions**
    * Total number of **Transactions & Refunds**

    Use the **Date Filter** to view details for a specific period. The **Business Metrics** provided help with informed decision-making.

    **Transactions**
    Under **Transactions**, you can see details of all payments at different stages: refunds, disputes, and suspicious transactions.

    **Payments**

    * View all received payments and their status against created orders.
    * Select a transaction to view **Customer Details** such as Name, Email, and Contact Number.
    * Use filters like **Status**, **Payment Methods**, and **Order Amount** to search for transactions.
    * To initiate a refund:
      * Select **Initiate Refund** for successful transactions.
      * For partial refunds, specify the amount and confirm.
      * Refunds are processed within 5 working days.

    **Refunds (New!)**

    * Use the Refunds tab to view all initiated refunds.
    * To check refund status, click the transaction and view its details.

    **Disputes**
    The Disputes tab lists transactions marked as disputed.

    * Disputed transactions arise when a customer questions the validity of a transaction.
    * Merchants can upload documents to validate transactions by selecting **Respond**.
    * The transaction status will be marked as **Dispute Opened** until resolved, after which it is either **Dispute Closed** or refunded to the customer.
    * Common dispute reasons include unauthorised transactions, billing errors, or dissatisfaction with goods/services.

    **Suspicious Transactions**

    * High-risk transactions are marked as **Suspicious**.
    * Details of suspicious transactions are available by selecting the transaction.

    **Settlements**
    The Settlements tab allows you to view all settlements for customer payments.

    * Use filters to find specific transactions.
    * Download settlement reports using the **Download** button.

    **Instant Settlements (New!)**

    * Gain immediate access to funds for better cash flow management.
    * To enable instant settlements, fill out the provided form.

    **Payment Links**
    Under **Payment Links**, view payments as **Received**, **Awaited**, or **Expired**.

    **Creation**

    * Create a payment link by selecting **Create Payments Link** → Enter details → Set order expiry time → Select **Create & Send**.

    **Details**

    * View transaction details, including Name, Email, and Number of the customer.
    * Track the status of the payment link on this page.
    * Reshare or edit payment links if the payment is awaiting.

    **Batch Payment Links**

    * Generate payment links for multiple transactions under the **Batch** tab.
    * Download the sample file, upload transactions, and select **Upload File**.

    **Reports**
    Cashfree offers a variety of reports for better understanding and reconciliation, such as:

    * **Transactions**, **Settlements**, **Refunds**, and **Ledger Reports**.

    **Downloading Reports**

    * Select **Report Type**, specify the period and filters, then select **Generate Report**.
    * Reports can be downloaded in CSV format.

    **API Keys**

    * Generate API keys by selecting **Generate Key** and authenticate via OTP.
    * View or reset keys through the dashboard.

    **Settings**

    * **Branding**: Customise your logo and brand colours.
    * **Payment Methods**: View and manage activated payment methods.
    * **Merchant Notifications**: Configure notifications for payments, refunds, and risk alerts.
    * **Bank Accounts**: View active and inactive settlement bank accounts.
