# No Cost EMIs

> Use Cashfree No Cost EMIs to let shoppers split payments into interest-free monthly instalments while you cover the financing cost to lift average order value.

No Cost EMI lets customers split payments into monthly instalments without interest, with merchants covering the interest cost.

### Setting up no cost EMI

Steps to set up No Cost EMI are as follows:

1. Log in to the [Merchant Dashboard](https://merchant.cashfree.com/auth/login), go to **Offers**, and select **Create No Cost EMI**.
2. Add a **Title**, **Offer Code**, and **Description**.
3. Set the **Start and End dates** from the calendar dropdown.
4. Define the **Terms & Conditions** to avail No Cost EMI.
5. Select the **EMI type**. That is Credit card, Debit Card EMI or Cardless EMI, participating banks, and duration. For example: 3, 6 or 9 months.
6. Set the **Transaction limits** to avail the No Cost EMI. Limit the number of times the offer can be availed and ensure the offer is active for customers.

### Customer view of no cost EMI

At checkout, customers select **No Cost EMI**, pick their bank and duration, then proceed with payment. The total is divided into monthly instalments without interest.

  **Note**:

  * It is the responsibility of the Merchant to cover the interest cost as an upfront discount.
  * Some banks may still charge GST on the interest component.
  * Ensure agreements with banks are in place before enabling the No Cost EMI.
