# Using Phone Number and Beneficiary Bank

> Send Cashfree Pay-to-Phone payouts using just the beneficiary's phone number and their bank, without collecting an account number or IFSC code upfront.

## How does payouts through phone number work?

You can initiate payouts to beneficiaries by having the beneficiary's phone number and bank only. These transfers shall be IMPS transfers internally. This capability is WIP and should be live by March '24.

This reduces the reliance on the correct and exact account number and IFSC of the beneficiary.
