Cashfree Payments Developer Code of Conduct

The Cashfree Payments Developer Relations team is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, welcoming, and harassment-free space and experience for all participants, regardless of gender identities, sexual orientations, ethnicities, races, socio-economic backgrounds, level of experience, ages, abilities, religions, national origins, or any other aspects of identity.

This Code of Conduct applies to all spaces, including the Developer Community Experts, App Developers, Stackoverflow, Reddit, GitHub, and Discord discussion forums, live and recorded Developer events and comment threads, and Cashfree Payments Developer Relations events (for both members and their guests), online and off, as well as in one-on-one communications pertaining to Cashfree Payments Developer Relations business. Persons violating our Code of Conduct may be penalised or expelled at the discretion of community moderators.

Our Standards

1. Professionalism

   • Be Respectful: Treat all community members with respect and consideration. Value each person's ideas, viewpoints, and experiences.
   • Be Considerate: Exercise consideration and respect in your speech and actions. Ensure that your contributions are constructive and helpful.
   • Be Collaborative: Engage in discussions, seek feedback, and be open to constructive criticism. Foster a sense of community and cooperation.

2. Harassment-Free Environment

   • Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Harassment of any kind, including offensive comments related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, or religion, is not tolerated. This includes deliberate intimidation, stalking, photo or video harassment, sustained disruption of discussions, and unwelcome sexual attention.
   • Violence and Threats: Any form of violence or threats of violence is strictly prohibited.

3. Ethical Conduct

   • Integrity: Always act with honesty and integrity. Do not knowingly provide false information or engage in deceitful behavior.
   • Confidentiality: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others. Do not share sensitive information without explicit consent.
   • Professional Competence: Strive to maintain high standards of professional competence. Engage in peer review to obtain constructive feedback and ensure the quality and accuracy of your work.

4. Inclusive Participation

   • Welcoming Environment: Create a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of their background or level of experience. Encourage new and diverse perspectives.
   • Accessibility: Make efforts to ensure that all activities and communications are accessible to all participants.

5. Responsible Use of Resources

   • Appropriate Use: Use company resources responsibly and only for their intended purposes. Avoid any form of misuse or abuse of company assets.
   • Respect for Intellectual Property: Respect the intellectual property rights of others. Do not use copyrighted material without proper authorization.

Enforcement

Participants who violate this Code of Conduct may face consequences, including warnings, temporary or permanent bans from the community, and reporting to appropriate authorities.
