The term 'You' & 'User(s)' shall mean any legal or natural person, accessing or using the Verification Demo Services (as defined hereunder) who is competent and eligible to enter into legally binding agreements, is 18 years old and above and has the requisite authority to be bound by these Terms, as determined solely by the provisions of the Indian Contract Act, 1872. The terms and conditions (“Terms”) as set out herein govern the use of free verification service provided through Cashfree’s verification tool (“Tool”) for Goods and Service Tax Network (“GSTIN”), PAN, , IFSC code and MICR code finder, UPI QR Code Generator, Bank Account verification and Penny Drop Verification (Verification Demo Services) made available by Us on https://www.cashfree.com/(“Website”), proprietary of Cashfree.
By accessing, using the Tool or availing any part of the Verification Demo Services, You expressly agree to and consent to being irrevocably bound by these Terms set out herein. If You do not agree with any of these Terms, You must immediately cease accessing and/or using the Website, Tool or the Verification Demo Services. Your acceptance of these Terms will operate as a binding agreement between You and Cashfree in respect of Your use of the Tool and/ or the Verification Demo Services.
To be compliant with the laws and/ or changes in the laws and regulatory developments applicable to Us, these Terms may be amended and updated by Us periodically. These Terms also include accessibility to Cashfree’s point of contact for raising any concerns You may have regarding the use of Verification Demo Services. While accepting these Terms, You are also expressly confirming that you have read and unequivocally accepted our Privacy Policy, Customer Protection and Grievance Redressal Policy and any other policies as updated on our website from time to time (together “Policies”).

- You shall not share, sell, modify, transmit, distribute or otherwise use or disclose the information on the Website and/ or the Tool (i) with any third party, (ii) for public or commercial purpose. Any such use which has not been explicitly authorised will amount to a violation of these Terms.
- You agree not to access (or attempt to access) the Website and/or the materials or services by any means other than through the interface provided by the Website. The use of deep-link, robot, spider or other automatic device, program, algorithm or methodology, or any similar or equivalent manual process, to access, acquire, copy or monitor any portion of the Website or its content, or in any way reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Website, materials or any content, or to obtain or attempt to obtain any materials, documents or information through any means not specifically made available through the Website will lead to suspension or termination of Your access to the Website & initiation of legal proceedings under relevant laws.
- Where the Website permits You to enter or upload data/information on the Tool for the purposes of Verification Demo Services, You undertake to ensure that such data/ information if not Your proprietary, is not procured without the consent of the owner of such data/ information, and is in accordance with applicable laws. - You agree to use the Website and/ or the Tool only for the intended purposes and not for any fraudulent activity, money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other use which is either prohibited by law or is unethical or to solicit the performance of any illegal activity or other activity which infringes the rights of this Website or any other third party(ies);
- In particular you also agree not to use the Website and/ or the Tool for any prohibited transactions as mentioned below:-
- Fake or illegally procured identity documents issued by the Government or other authorities;
- Any product or service which is not in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations within or outside India;
- Threaten the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order, or cause incitement to the commission of any cognizable offence, or prevent the investigation of any offence, or insult any other nation;
- Publish, post, or disseminate information that is false, inaccurate or misleading.
- You hereby expressly authorise Cashfree to disclose any and all information relating to You in the possession of the Company to law enforcement or other government officials, as Cashfree may in its sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate in connection with the investigation and/or resolution of possible crimes or offences. You further understand that Cashfree might be directed to disclose any information (including the identity of persons providing information or materials on the Website) as necessary to satisfy any judicial order, law, regulation or valid governmental request.
- You remain solely responsible for the documents uploaded to and information entered by You on the Website and/ or the Tool to avail the Verification Demo Services. In no event shall Cashfree assume or be deemed to have assumed any responsibility or liability for any documents uploaded or information entered by You, or for any claims, damages or losses resulting from documents uploaded or information entered by You on the Website and/ or the Tool to avail the Verification Demo Services. You hereby represent and warrant that You have all necessary rights in and to the document uploaded on and information provided by You on the Website, and that it does not infringe any proprietary or other rights of any third party(ies), nor does it contain any libellous, tortuous, or otherwise unlawful or offensive material, and You hereby accept full responsibility for any consequences that may arise due to providing or uploading any such information on the Website and/ or the Tool.
- Violation of User Obligation: If Cashfree believes that You have violated any of the conditions and/ or obligations under these Terms and Policies or any agreements, Cashfree reserves the right to the following:
- Temporarily or permanently suspend User access to the Website and/ or the Tool, without providing prior notice to You in this regard. However, You may reach out to the Cashfree support team to assist You with the restoration of the same.
- Cashfree may ask You to refund an amount equivalent to any unwarranted charges paid by the company to any other payment gateway/bank/ third parties due to such fraudulent activities carried out by You on the Website and/ or the Tool.
- Cashfree reserves the right to levy a penalty amount, depending upon the severity/scale of the violation/fraud/misuse carried out by You on the Website and/ or the Tool.
- We hereby disclaim any and all liability in relation to Your use of the Website and / or the Tool or any action taken on the basis of the information and materials uploaded by You on the Website and/ or the Tool. Further, neither Cashfree nor the National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL), GSTN, , banks, or any third party service provider or entity from whom Cashfree may be taking services for enabling the Verification Demo Services on the Website and/ or the Tool, shall have any responsibility or liability in relation to failure of any request made on the Website and/ or the Tool for any reason, including but not limited to network or connectivity failure, device or application failure, possible down time, or any other technical or non-technical error of any nature.
- You agree to indemnify Cashfree and its affiliates, officers, employees against all liabilities, damages, losses, costs, fees (including legal fees), and expenses relating to any allegation or third-party legal proceeding to the extent arising from your use or misuse of the Website and / or the Tool, or your violation of these Terms.
- Your use of the Website shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the NSDL, GSTN, banks, or any third party service provider or entity from whom Cashfree may be taking services for enabling the Verification Demo Services on the Website and/ or the Tool, who shall have the sole right and discretion, without any liability of any nature, by all means (whether manual or automated) to accept/ reject any data from being transmitted from their infrastructure to the Website and/ or the Tool. Cashfree holds no proprietary rights in any of the third party/parties from whom Cashfree may be taking services for enabling the Verification Demo Services on the Website and/ or the Tool.
- We may display, or contain links to, third party products, services, and Web sites. Any opinions, advice, statements, services, offers, or other information that constitutes part of the content expressed, authored, or made available by third parties on the Website and/ or the Tool, or which is accessible through or may be located using Our Verification Demo Services (“Third Party Content”) are those of the respective authors or producers and not of us or our shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, or representatives. We do not control such Third Party Content and do not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Third Party Content.
