In it to win it

Archit Vyas is a B.E graduate who hails from a small town in Rajasthan. He says that he is an engineer by chance and a salesperson by choice – “Guess it comes from my Marwari roots!”

He has been associated with early or growth-stage startups all across his career and has taken numerous different roles in each job. After 3 years in the partnership role, he was driven to contribute more in the business aspects dealing with extensive gross volume opportunities. Therefore he made switched to the Enterprise Sales vertical. “After a decent stint in the partnership team, I got to the other side of the table in this new role. I get the direct opportunity to anticipate and convert impact. It’s a pure number game, and keeps things exciting on the job!”. As a cherry on top, he relocated to Gurgaon to live closer to his family.

He graduated from RV College of Engineering in Bengaluru where his interest in the fintech space developed. Besides work, he spends his time playing badminton, and sudoku. “With my previous role, I had the additional benefit of networking with different people from different functions across the organization time and again. This triggered in me the interest to increase my understanding of the fintech industry as a whole. I wanted a 360-degree view specifically under the Analytics domain. I also wanted to learn new skills & have a broader experience while staying within the comfort & culture of Cashfree Payments” says Abdul on switching to his current role as Business Analyst – Banking Alliance & Product Partnership

Abdul shares that there was nothing but immense support from the entire team for his growth plans – “The transition was completely smooth with a lot of support from the initial team’s manager, the new manager and the HR team throughout. The initial team manager was quite understanding and valued my thoughts regarding my movement.”
