The Test Case Management (TCM) tool transforms testing operations into a streamlined workflow. It provides an end-to-end platform that manages everything from test planning to sign-offs, with intelligent notifications and comprehensive analytics. It is designed to help teams organise, track, and link test cases to product features throughout the software development lifecycle.Documentation Index

Overview
When you launch critical features, you need to create a comprehensive test plan, assign test cases to team members, track automation status, obtain stakeholder approvals, and monitor testing KPIs. The TCM tool resolves chaotic test planning and delayed approvals by providing complete visibility into your testing lifecycle. The tool helps you answer the following questions quickly:- What is the test plan status and who needs to approve it?
- Which test cases are automated, manual, or disabled across features?
- Who is assigned to execute specific test cases and what is their progress?
- How are testing KPIs trending and where are the bottlenecks?
Feature management
The tool provides comprehensive feature management capabilities:- Creation: Sign in with Google to access the tool. Navigate to the feature page to either clone an existing feature or create a new one. When creating a new feature, input the required details and assign up to two approvers.
- Workflow: Add test cases directly to the feature by creating new test cases or importing existing ones. After you add the test cases, save the test plan and send it for review.
- Approval: Approvers receive email notifications. They can either approve the feature or request changes. If they request changes, the workflow reverts to the “add test cases” stage.
- Testing and sign-off: After approval, the testing phase begins and is visible to test engineers. Upon completion, select “testing complete” and “sign off” to finalise the workflow.
- Maintenance: Edit or delete features only if they have not been signed off. View version history, filter by various parameters, and collaborate through comments and tagging.
Test case management
Manage individual test cases with the following functions:- Creation and editing: Add test cases directly or clone them from existing ones. Edit, delete, or perform bulk deletions as needed.
- Collaboration and tracking: Utilise commenting, tagging, and version tracking for test cases, enabling you to revert to previous versions quickly.
- Filtering: Apply advanced filtering options and save your custom filters for future use.
KPI dashboard
The dashboard provides automation metrics based on selected pods and timelines:- Overview: View coverage metrics, including overall automation coverage, automatable coverage, P0/P1 high-priority coverage, and frontend versus backend distribution.
- Analysis: Access visual representations of coverage, pod-specific performance, and automation contributions by individuals and pods.
- Trends: Compare automation contributions between testers and developers. Track sprint-specific automation data, test case deviations (additions or removals), and automation count deviations over the last several sprints.
Who should use the tool
The TCM tool streamlines workflows and provides data-driven insights. It is designed for:- QA leads planning test cycles
- Developers managing automation status
- Project managers tracking approvals
- Stakeholders monitoring testing KPIs
