How does payouts through phone number work?

You can initiate payouts to beneficiaries by having the beneficiary’s phone number and bank only. These transfers shall be IMPS transfers internally. This capability is WIP and should be live by March ‘24. This reduces the reliance on the correct and exact account number and IFSC of the beneficiary. Please contact your Account Manager for more information and to get added to the priority list.
