The Cashfree Payments BBPS-Biller solution enables billers organisations that collect recurring bills from customers to reach payers across digital and offline channels using the Bharat Bill Payment System infrastructure.

Understanding the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS)

Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) is an integrated online ecosystem that provides a unified platform for bill payments across India. It connects over 150 digital payment channels, including major UPI apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and Amazon Pay, along with phone banking applications and net banking websites. Additionally, it integrates with over 35 lakh offline collection centres. A single integration through Cashfree Payments provides access to these channels and can help reduce operational costs. These platforms support multiple payment modes, including UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking, and cash.
