Cashfree FlowWise is a payments orchestration platform. It lets you integrate and manage multiple payment gateway partners, also known as Payment Service Providers (PSPs) or acquirers, from a single integration point. By connecting these partners, you can dynamically route transactions based on custom rules or AI models to maximise payment success rates and reduce transaction costs. To configure and route transactions through FlowWise, you must first connect your payment gateway partners to your FlowWise account by adding their respective credentials.

Prerequisites

Before you connect a payment gateway partner to FlowWise, verify that you have the following in place:
  • A Cashfree Payments merchant account with Collect Payments enabled. If you do not have an account, sign up for Cashfree Payments.
  • Active merchant accounts with each payment gateway partner you plan to add (PayU, Razorpay, Paytm, Cashfree, and others).
  • API credentials, keys, and identifiers from each partner, ready to enter during setup. See the Supported gateways configuration guides for required fields per partner.
  • For Cashfree as a gateway partner, linking your logged-in account does not require manual credentials. See the Cashfree gateway guide for same-account and multi-account setup.
  • To link a different Cashfree account, use that account’s Payment Gateway App ID and Secret Key. Generate API keys from Payment Gateway > Developers > API Keys in the Merchant Dashboard.

Adding a gateway partner

To add and connect a payment gateway partner in FlowWise, follow these steps:
  1. Log in to the Merchant Dashboard. On the home page, select Payment Gateway, then select FlowWise from the left navigation menu.
  2. In the FlowWise sub-menu on the left navigation menu, select Gateways to open the configured gateways list.
  3. Select Add Gateways in the top-right corner of the screen.
  4. Select your payment gateway partner from the drop-down list. Enter a unique name and a brief description for this gateway configuration to help you identify it in your routing rules. Select Next to continue.
  5. Select the environment for this gateway partner configuration:
    • Production (PROD): Select this option for live transactions in your production environment.
    • Test (TEST) or Sandbox: Select this option to run test transactions and validate your integration.
  6. Enter the required keys, secrets, or identifiers for your chosen payment gateway partner. The required fields vary depending on the partner you select. Select Submit or Link Account to save the configuration.
Each payment gateway has specific credential requirements and settings (such as seamless mode or webhook configurations) that you must enable on the partner dashboard before routing live traffic.
