Offer discounts and cashback to attract customers and improve sales when they make payments on your website or apps. You can specify different offers on various payment methods and give your customers the flexibility to pay from the payment method they choose.When you create the offers, you can:
  • Specify the offer code and offer type (Discount or Cashback).
  • Select the payment methods on which the offers should be applicable.
  • Reduce the total amount a customer pays by a percentage or a flat amount.
  • Specify the maximum number of transactions allowed per payment method.
  • Define the offer validity period.
  • View a consolidated report for each offer you created.
Offers will automatically be applicable for businesses using Cashfree hosted checkout pages and plugins, and no additional integration effort is required. You can create Offers using our Payment Gateway Dashboard. Create OffersTo create an offer:
  1. Go to Payment Gateway Dashboard > Offers > Create New Offer.
  2. Specify the offer details:
  • Enter a title for the offer that the customers can relate to.
  • Add an offer code and an offer description. These details will be visible to customers on your checkout page or plugin during payment.
  1. Specify the offer’s start and end dates and its terms and conditions:
  • You can link your business’s terms and conditions or add a short description.
  1. Select the offer category that applies to your business:
  • Provide discounts, cashback, or both to your customers.
  1. Select the discount type:
  • Provide discounts at a flat rate or as a percentage.
  • Specify the maximum discount amount or discount percentage for the selected type.
  1. Select the payment modes for which the offers apply:
  • Choose all or specific payment modes.
  • Optionally, specify the banks and card types relevant to the offer.
  • Click Create.
The offer is now active and available in the Offers section. You can activate or deactivate the offer at any time.Offers Shown to CustomersWhen customers initiate a payment, all available offers are listed on your checkout page. Offer details like the description and code will be visible to customers, so ensure you clearly explain your offer’s context using these fields.Customers can select an offer and proceed with the payment. The reduced amount is displayed on the checkout page, and the customer completes the payment with the final amount.
Log in to Cashfree > Offers > Create No-Cost EMI Enter Details – Add a title, offer code, and description. Set Timeline – Define start and end dates. Choose EMI Options – Select credit/debit card EMI, banks, and duration (3, 6, 9 months). Set Limits – Control how many times the offer can be used. Activate – Ensure the offer is live for customers.
Yes, you can deactivate an offer at any point in time. To change the status of an offer, select the toggle button in the Status (Active/Inactive). Click on a particular offer to view the offer details. You can Deactivate the ongoing offer, and if you want to create a similar offer, select the Duplicate option.

To prevent stacking, create non-combinable offers on Shopify. Cashfree-created offers (such as PREPAID10) cannot be combined with other discounts created within the Cashfree system. Setting the Shopify offer to be non-combinable ensures it will not stack with other Shopify-based discounts, while the Cashfree offer remains applicable.
If you have discontinued a marketing campaign or an offer, you must disable or inactivate the offer on both the Shopify dashboard and the Merchant Dashboard to prevent customers from using the discount code.
For One Click Checkout (OCC) transactions, searching by customer email or phone number may not always yield results because a dummy email might be passed during the transaction flow. Search using the Cashfree Order ID or Transaction ID instead.
Offers can be inactivated on the Merchant Dashboard. If the offer was created via Shopify, it should be deleted on the Shopify dashboard.
