Cashfree’s AI-powered Return to Origin (RTO) Intelligence reduces return orders and fraud by disabling Cash on Delivery for high-risk customers. Integrated with One-Click Checkout, it uses machine learning to predict RTO risk, improving delivery rates and reducing costs.

Key features

  • Smarter RTO risk prediction: Uses a machine learning model that goes beyond historical order count to improve the accuracy and precision of RTO risk assessment.
  • Enriched data inputs: Enhances model performance by combining customer phone numbers, shipping addresses, cart items, merchant transaction history, and 10+ other parameters.

Activate RTO intelligence

To activate RTO Intelligence:
  1. Log in to the Merchant Dashboard.
  2. Under One-Click Checkout, select Access.
  3. In the left pane, select COD & RTO.
  4. Select the RTO Intelligence tab.
  5. Turn on the toggle in the top-right corner.
Note: You can’t turn on the toggle if no shipping provider credentials are linked.
  1. In the Link a Shipping Provider modal:
    1. Select the shipping company from the Shipping Company dropdown.
    2. Enter your Username.
    3. Enter your Password.
    4. Select Add Now.
