How will I be notified if my customer has raised a dispute?

You will be notified about disputes through emails.
To configure Email notifications : Login to the merchant dashboard > Settings > Email Notifications (Under Payment Gateway).


Emails are triggered on following events:

  • When a new dispute is created.
  • When there is a change in type of dispute (Chargeback > Pre-arbitration, Pre-arbitration > Arbitration, etc)
  • When the status of dispute changes (Action Required > Under Review, Under Review > Closed, etc)
  • When remarks/comments are added by Cashfree Team. 
  • Reminder email before deadline of any dispute case.
