The Challenge

Atomic Pharmacy initially started with Shopify’s native checkout experience before moving to Cashfree One Click Checkout to create a faster and more conversion-focused buying journey.

While the earlier One Click Checkout flow had already streamlined the buying journey significantly compared to Shopify’s native checkout, the new flow focused on making checkout even more intuitive by reducing customer decisions at the final purchase stage.

One of the biggest improvements in the new One Click Checkout flow was intelligent payment pre-selection.

Using insights from 50M+ saved payment instruments, returning shoppers landed on checkout with their most preferred payment method already selected, whether it was a saved card or their preferred UPI app. Instead of choosing how to pay every time, customers could move directly to payment confirmation with minimal effort.

For new shoppers, the flow intelligently surfaced the most preferred payment options upfront, primarily UPI and COD, based on broader customer payment behavior patterns.

Native Payment Infrastructure Improved Payment Completion

Cashfree One Click Checkout runs natively on Cashfree’s payment infrastructure, enabling a faster and more reliable payment experience.

Features like:

  • Native UPI intent flows

  • In-checkout card OTP verification

  • Intelligent payment routing with soft retries

helped reduce payment friction during the final purchase step.

This was especially important on mobile devices where redirects and app switching often lead to checkout abandonment.

Pre-Filled Address Experience Helped Improve Checkout Conversion from 29% to 33%

Returning shoppers landed on checkout with delivery details already pre-filled using Cashfree’s address intelligence layer powered by 120M+ verified profiles.

Instead of manually entering address details repeatedly, customers could move directly toward payment with minimal effort.

This smoother checkout journey helped Atomic Pharmacy improve checkout conversion from 29% to 33%.

Auto-Applied Offers Reduced Checkout Hesitation

With the new One Click Checkout experience, relevant offers were automatically surfaced and applied directly within checkout using Cashfree’s offers engine supporting 300+ offer constructs.

This helped reduce checkout friction and create a faster purchase experience.
