As Aura Gold scaled with the number of active customers sharply increasing , the number of active mandates grew by over 60% last year. Aura Gold required an infrastructure that could handle scale without disruptions while allowing customisation and flexibility in mandate creation. 

Cashfree’s UPI infrastructure supported by in-house UPI Switch which could handle scale, while Cashfree API’s enabled easy mandate registration with customisation capability ensuring a fast mandate creation and seamless execution. Even as mandate volumes rose sharply, Aura Gold was able to maintain an average success rate of 90+% throughout 2025.

With mandates growing rapidly, operational visibility became a challenge. Users frequently paused, modified, or cancelled mandates depending on cash flow or market conditions. Often, these updates were discovered only after a debit attempt failed. 

Cashfree provided real time visibility into the mandate state changes through reliable APIs. Aura Gold could immediately detect pauses, cancellations, or expiries and act before the next debit attempt. This reduced unnecessary failures and improved communication accuracy.
