At Cashfree Payments, our goal is to foster a culture of collaboration and appreciation across our teams. We encourage Cashiens from different roles to work together to get the job done.

And we also know, a little recognition goes a long way! We consistently endeavor to ensure that our Cashiens know how much they are valued, both at the team and individual levels.

That’s why we have a strong Rewards and Recognition program at Cashfree Payments. It lays the foundation for consistent appreciation and motivation within and across the organization. This program also empowers and enables us to celebrate multiple aspects of being a Cashien; like collaboration, empathy, gratitude, and of course, remarkable work.

Our Culture of Appreciation

The magic words: ‘Thank You!’ Cards

One of the ways in which we recognize the corporate citizenship spirit and collaborative efforts of individual Cashiens is the ‘You Rock’ – Thank You cards that Cashiens can give each other. We have these cards kept in the cafeterias and common areas of our offices where Cashiens pick and share these cards with their colleagues as a token of gratitude. Once a Cashien  collects five Thank You cards, they can redeem these cards for a gift voucher.

Small gestures with big impact: WOW awards

We don’t have to wait to compliment a fellow Cashien who pleasantly surprises us with their work. Instead, we can immediately declare the good work done with a ‘WOW’ – our spot award for instant recognition! Every ‘WOW’ award comes along with a gift voucher for the Cashien mentioned. This spot award can be given by anyone, anytime. Every month, over 250 spot awards are given and received by Cashiens, making this a best practice at our workplace.

Commendable exceptions: GEM Awards

Our most coveted reward is our monthly GEM (Going-the-Extra-Mile) Awards where BU Heads nominate outstanding members of their team – Cashiens who have made excellent things happen in a given month. This award highlights our outperformers who commit to deadlines, abide by our values, demonstrate excellence, and make significant contributions. We also feature the best of their work and showcase the impact they have made, in our monthly internal newsletter. Apart from this, a generous gift voucher is given to them!

Going big together: Team Awards

Every quarter, the Cashfree Payments leadership team evaluates each Business Unit (BU) against set criteria for Team Awards. It aims to recognize the BU that has made the most significant impact in that quarter.
This is a merit-based award where three of the highest-performing teams are recognised. We also have a Special Mention for a team that stood close to winners. The winning teams bag rolling trophies and gift vouchers for the team!

Celebrating legacy: Tenure Awards

Our veteran employees hold a special place in our hearts – for building Cashfree Payments for years with their meticulous dedication. We have our long service awards, the Tenure Awards, which celebrate Cashiens who have been with us for 3 years and above. Their valuable knowledge, legacy and unique perspectives continue to shape our teams.

Power-packed debuts: Best Debut Awards

For new hires that have joined in the last six months and have made a substantial impact, we have the Best Debut Award. This award is all about recognizing quick learners and doers who are eager to climb up the Cashfree Payments learning curve. Once again, we reward our Best Debuts with gift vouchers!

And there’s more!

We have meticulously devised our rewards and recognition program to ascertain that every employee’s contribution, even those apart from their KRAs, is amply recognized.

Every quarter, we declare our Referral Rockstars for successful referrals made, where they take home big prizes!

Our annual Fun Awards announced during our annual Foundation day, bring a little humour at work when Cashiens nominate each other for quirky traits like Walking Encyclopedia, Humourist, Camera-Ready, Night Owl, and more.

Our rewards and recognition program provides an enabling environment for Cashiens to grow, as an individual and in teams. We are glad to share that we put this program in place many years ago, right from the third year of our existence. It continues to be one of the main pillars of Cashfree Payments’  #CultureOfAppreciation.
