At Cashfree Payments, we’ve always believed that a great payment experience is built on the smallest details. The name and logo a customer sees at the payment step are among those details, and getting them right is foundational to trust.

We’re introducing two new ways to customise your Checkout header on Cashfree Payments, giving merchants more control over how their brand appears at the moment of payment.

Why Your Brand on Checkout Matters

Customers don’t read the Checkout page carefully. They glance.

In that glance, they’re looking for one signal: Am I in the right place? If the brand they just shopped with doesn’t match what they see at payment, that’s a moment of doubt. A small one, maybe. But payment is exactly where small doubts turn into abandoned carts.

The same applies to your logo. A logo that doesn’t quite match your website, or a brand name awkwardly tacked on next to a wordmark that already says it, chips away at the polish your brand has worked to build everywhere else.

Your Checkout header is one of the last things a customer sees before they pay. It should reflect your brand exactly the way you’ve built it, not a generic default.

What’s New

Both updates are available now under Visual Customization in your Merchant Dashboard.

Pick the Checkout header style that fits your brand best:

Logo with text
Upload your square logo and pair it with your brand name, displayed one below the other.

Logo without text
Upload your rectangular named logo (wordmark), ideal if it already includes your brand name.

How It Works

Head to your Merchant Dashboard → Visual Customization → Header to find both options in one place.

Choose your logo display style under Choose logo display type, upload the appropriate logo, and enter your Display Brand Name in the field below. Both options go through a verification step before reflecting on Checkout. This exists to protect your customers and the wider Cashfree ecosystem from impersonation, and it’s designed to be transparent. You’ll see the status on your dashboard at every stage.

Use Cases: Where This Makes a Real Difference

D2C Brands Operating Under a Different Legal Entity

Your registered company name is often different from the brand your customers know. With a self-serve Brand Name setup, your Checkout can finally show up as the brand on the website, not the entity on the paperwork.

Merchants Refreshing Their Brand

Rebranded recently? New name, new logo, new positioning? Updating your Checkout to match used to involve raising a request and waiting for manual processing. Now you can submit the changes from your dashboard and track their verification status in real time.

Brands with a Strong Wordmark Identity

If your logo is your name, where the typography itself carries the brand, you no longer need the brand name repeated beside it. The Logo without text option gives you a single, polished wordmark on the Checkout header, more aligned with how your brand shows up elsewhere.

Already Live. Ready to Configure.

The new Checkout header customisation options are available now on the Cashfree Merchant Dashboard. If you’ve been meaning to refresh how your brand appears at Checkout, or if you didn’t realise the option existed, this is your moment.

How to Get Started

Log in to your Cashfree Dashboard and navigate to Visual Customisation → Header to choose your logo style and set your brand name. If you’re not yet on Cashfree Payments, sign up and bring every detail of your payment experience under your control.

The payment screen is where intent becomes revenue. Every element of that experience, including how your brand shows up, should be working for you.
